Sweet Corn Salad Recipe |
Sweet Corn salad is a quite interesting salad, as the taste of sweet corn changes the usual taste of the salad. This salad is a quite filling when accompanied with rice and curry.
Sometimes when I do not feel to have a full meal for lunch, I usually make this salad with rice and curry/dal. You can have this salad with any of your detox drink. (we are soon coming up with detox drinks recipe stay tuned).
Sweet corn is one my favourite ingredient, I can add sweet corn to any dish and the recipe becomes super yummy and healthy. I used to add grated cheese and mayonnaise to this salad and it tastes superb. But as we are on the weight-loss program we will omit cheese and mayonnaise.
This recipe of sweet-corn salad is a mixture of all healthy veggies. You can have this salad with brown bread toast.
Sweet-Corn Salad Recipe
SERVES:2
Preparation time: 10 Mins
INGREDIENTS:
- 500gms Sweet corn kernels boiled
- 1 medium Onion finely chopped
- 1 medium Tomato finely chopped
- 2 Small Cucumber finely chopped
- 1-2 tsp Cumin Powder
- 1-2 tsp Chat masala/ Italian mixed herbs
- 1/2 to 1 tsp lemon juice
- Salt as per taste
METHOD:
- Take a bowl, add sweet-corn kernel, onions, tomatoes and cucumber.
- add cumin powder, chat masala or Italian mixed herbs, lemon juice and salt as per taste. Mix well all the ingredients.
SERVE FRESH!!
Can be Served with: Brown bread toast/detox drink
